let it shine

The weather in London has been really beautiful lately, and it brings out the best in everyone (as it should, considering the sky has been consistently grey for the last two years).  What this means, of course, is that everyone celebrates with... what else?  A pint or three. 

I love walking down the street on a Friday night after work and seeing everyone standing on the street outside a pub; it's still a strange sight to my eyes, since American laws ban you from drinking on the sidewalk.

I'm tellin ya, Londoners love to be outside with a drink in their hand.  And I say when in Rome...

I love London! Rainy or sunny, but you're right there is something that happens when the sun shine that is pretty fantastic. I lived in London for 7 years but am now in Essex--only 40 mn away. Love the countryside but really enjoy getting back into London.
