I haven't written in a while because I've been knee deep in boxes - I've moved for the third time in three years, which is not something I enjoy doing. That said, i have been happy to move to these places, and have finally relocated to the heart of London. It's been fun getting to know the neighborhood (pubs, that is). More on that later.
As I am a huge fan of all things animal, my sister sent this to me and it cracked me up.
I can't imagine how people can kill these bears for sport. Total cretins - and that includes you, Sarah Palin.

That was hilarious--whoever set it to music was inspired.
I do camp, and where I live (Bozeman, Montana) that means I'm camping in bear country. Never had any trouble, though, even when some spent the night in the trees in our back yard. The problem was the drunk guy from next door who kept trying to get them to come down...

Ha! My 3 yr old daughter loved this bear "rockin' out" as she put it.
Good luck with the move. Have a pint and a packet of crisps in your new local for me!

I'm not a fan of camping in either country, unless it's at a Ritz Carlton!!

Looks just like my husband! I must admit, bears are the reason I don't fancy camping in the US. It's bad enough in England with the badgers!
