How totally adorable is this video? I think the music is cheesy, and for all I know they drugged the deer and put kitten food on his fur so the cat will lick him, but I still well up when I see this. I dare you not to.

Sunday night, awards season, this week it's the BAFTAs from the Royal Opera House in London.  Let the gossip begin!

• Angie, love the dress.  Well done.
• Kate, I love the fact that you actually have crow's feet.  Minor crow's feet to be sure, but no Botox. 
• Ditto Kristin Scott Thomas.
• As deserving as Slumdog Millionaire may be, does it have to win every single award?  How boring.
• Goldie Hawn looks rough.  Yes, she is getting up there, but still surprising.  But she's still just as dippy.
• Wow, Sharon Stone!  I haven't seen her in ages.  Whatever happened to her?  And why is she here now?  She isn't doing herself any favors with her completely whacked out delivery.  What is she on?
• Kylie Minogue's hair is just so... wrong.  What is that color, metallic bronze?  Eggplant?  Awful.
• Robert Downey Jr. always looks so happy.  I have a lot of respect for him.
• Steve McQueen looks terrific in his kilt! 
• Marisa Tomei - you might want to think about a bra next time.
• Penelope Cruz, please just go home.  You annoy me no end.
• Emma Watson's dress looks like it's being attacked by a flock of gargantuan butterflies.
• I cannot believe Michael Fassbender didn't win the Newcomer award.  What the hell does it take?  He is phenomenal. 
• Kate Winslet won - and I love her dress.  Wish it wasn't black, but hey.  Her acceptance speech is well-spoken and professional, entirely different from her Golden Globe speech.
• Marion Cotillard is so utterly awesome.  I'm such a huge fan since Piaf. 
• Mickey Rourke is ... how shall I say it... a total train wreck, with trout lips and hair plugs.  His speech is so sincere, though, that you can't help but be happy for him.

And now I have to rest up, for the Academy Awards will be here before you know it!

I love when companies demonstrate a cheeky sense of humour.  I suppose you'd need a sense of humour if the product you made was all about human deforestation [as it were].

Now this is beautiful, and a very rare sight indeed.  Snow!  Here in Cambridge!  Unfortunately, the snow here in the UK has no character at all and will melt in three minutes.  Good thing my camera is automatic.
