Did I tell you I went to the MTV Video Music Awards in Liverpool a few weeks ago? Tix were courtesy of my friend Deena, who works for MTV in New York.
We had a great time - almost worth my screaming hangover the next day. Unfortunately, the closest I got to a celeb was Daisy Lowe and her dippy boyfriend Will somethingorother. Daisy needs a flipping haircut (get that hair outta your eyes, girl!!) and Will desperately needs a sandwich. And no, I wasn't quick enough to get a photo of the two. Damn.
I did, however, get a picture of Bono giving Paul McCartney a lifetime achievement award! I still can't believe I was in the same room [ok, huge auditorium with thousands of other people] with someone so hugely famous. It was quite cool indeed.
